VCCU donated $2,000 each to five local Boys & Girls Clubs (Moorpark and Simi Valley, Greater Conejo Valley, Greater Ventura, Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme and Santa Clara Valley). In addition, the financial institution gave $10,000 to Food Share of Ventura County, $5,000 to the Mixteco/ Indígena Community Organizing Project (MICOP), $10,000 to Health Care Foundation For Ventura County, $10,000 to Ventura County Community Foundation, $2,500 to Senior Concerns and $2,500 to Ventura County Area Agency on Aging. “These nonprofits have been making a major difference for so many people in our community during this challenging time,” said VCCU President and CEO Linda Rossi. “We are grateful for their efforts and honored to support them as they continue to make a positive impact here in Ventura County.” Tina Estes, VCCU vice president of marketing, and Community Development Manager Melissa Miller helped distribute checks.
