Museum of Ventura County
The Museum of Ventura County held the First Annual Bridge Builder Award Gala on April 27. The award celebrates the accomplishments of local leaders who have made a significant impact on the community. The first-ever honorees were the Thomas and Esther Wachtell family, recognized for their multigenerational philanthropy and support of cultural institutions such as the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, California State University, Channel Islands, Libbey Bowl and more. Guests enjoyed a multicourse dinner, live auction and raffle, and danced to live music by Beatles tribute band Sgt. Pepper. With the Bridge Builder Award, the museum hopes to inspire vibrant communities by connecting the past, present and future.
