Casa Pacifica Angels Wine & Food Festival

Cal State University Channel Islands, Camarillo

howcasing the culinary creations of restaurants and caterers from Santa Barbara to the Conejo Valley, as well as wineries, vineyards, and microbreweries from all over California, the 18th annual Festival raised more than $300,000 for Casa Pacifica, a Camarillo-based organization that provides help for abused, neglected, or at-risk children and families in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. Each year, as part of its public/private partnership, Casa Pacifica must raise 10-12 percent of its budget to fill the gap between government funding and the actual cost of providing aid to neglected children. The 2011 Festival marks the largest fundraiser in its history. For more details, visit casapacifica.org.
